Company description

Bovinitaly Cooperative is a breeders’ cooperative founded in July 2007 and recognized by the Emilia-Romagna Region as a Producer Organization (O.P.). It specializes in the marketing of certified IGP beef "Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale," from the CHIANINA, MARCHIGIANA, and ROMAGNOLA breeds, labeled according to its own optional labeling protocol recognized by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture (Mi.P.A.A.F.) with the unique code IT117ET.

The cooperative’s goal is to promote and safeguard both the quality and quantity of beef production from prized Italian breeds—Chianina, Marchigiana, and Romagnola—raised on the pastures of the central Apennines.

The exceptionally high quality of its products has enabled Bovinitaly to establish commercial partnerships with major Italian retail chains such as CONAD, ESSELUNGA, COOP, CARREFOUR, ARCA, and MARR, as well as with leading meat cutting and processing companies including CLAI, CEM, INALCA, CENTRO CARNI COMPANY, SALUMIFICIO SANDRI, and many others. Additionally, the cooperative supplies restaurants and butcher shops throughout Emilia-Romagna through the CEM Cooperative in Cesena, which handles both processing and distribution of the products.
