Cinta Senese DOP cured meats and Prosciutto Toscano DOP—awarded the prestigious 5-spindle “Eccellenza Italiana” recognition in L’Espresso’s guide I salumi d’Italia—are two flagship products of the RENIERI family, who have been producing traditional Tuscan cured meats since 1964 in Poggibonsi (SI). This artisanal, family-run company is deeply connected to the magical Tuscan territory nestled between San Gimignano, Castellina in Chianti, and Siena, committed to creating truly special products that stay faithful to Tuscan tradition.

Particular care is given to the purity of the products: no additives (nitrites, thickeners, colorants, microbial starters), no food allergens (gluten, lactose, sugars), and a strict respect for natural aging times in specially designed, well-maintained environments that promote natural air circulation.

The Cinta Senese pigs, directly overseen by the RENIERI family, are raised at a maximum density of 5 animals per hectare, living freely for at least one year in their natural habitat. This ensures each animal receives a balanced diet and optimal welfare. The pigs’ primary food source is acorns. During periods of low forest productivity, their diet is supplemented with the finest noble cereals such as corn, barley, wheat, oats, and vetch.
