Each bottle of extra virgin olive oil produced by the property; Fanciulli Del Casino di Siena contains not only an oil with striking and brilliant characteristics, but also the ancient history of the families that have contributed to the formation of this passionate agricultural tradition. The commercial image of the company is still identified with the heraldry Fanciulli, to demonstrate how the past is projected into the future. Documents dating back to the 1800s testify how properties "with sterile olive trees" have become prosperous and productive olive groves, thanks to the constant improvements made by the different generations that have succeeded each other over time. The Farm Located at the gates of Siena, the Agricultural Farm Bagno a Sorra conducted according to the criteria of organic farming, certified by ICEA, extends in several bodies in the territory surrounding the city. Geographically located in the Tuscan Antiappenninica, where the prevailing yellow sands alternate with poor clay, it is exposed to the west of the city with an altitude that oscillates between 250 meters. and 350 mt. slm. This type of territory has contributed and still contributes to the excellent quality of the product. The quality of extra virgin olive oil "Fanciulli" is guaranteed by the many cultivars present in more than 35,000 olive trees within the company. The olives are harvested directly from the plant, in order to avoid degradation in contact with the soil and is followed by a continuous mechanical crushing in its latest generation mill, which allows you to obtain a product of high typicity. Azienda Agraria Bagno a Sorra also certifies its production with the PDO Terre di Siena and the PGI Toscano.
